Does everyone use a brush and a sponge to apply foundation and too blend.

If you watch Nars Tutorials, they recommend to apply foundation and other products with your fingers to warm it up as you apply it. I, personally would apply using a brush to spread the product then use my fingers to even it out and push the product more to the skin.
