Does using shiny blushes make textured skin pop out more? Would it be better to use matte powder blushed instead to hide texture?

I find shiny blushes do make skin texture more obvious, especially if they're very shimmery. I've had more luck with matte blushes on my acne scars, or using a little sheer powder to dull shiny blushes
