I do not understand why I always feel that I have applied very little concealer despite applying loads of it. Any help where I am going wrong?

How are you applying it and onto what? I always apply over primer that’s had time to sit. I let the concealer sit for a few minutes before I then blend with a sponge or suitable brush with more of a tapping motion(edited)
