To start with, if I have any spots or blemishes, I use a tiny dot of the soft matte concealer in Cafe au Lait, using my fingers to blend as I find the heat helps it melt in to skin. Once that's dried down, I go in with my light reflecting foundation in Patagonia, again using my fingers to blend. I work with 1 pump at a time. I pop it on the back of my hand to let it warm, then dot over my face, focusing on where I need the most coverage, before gently 'pushing' it into my skin and blending it out, making sure I avoid my under eye area. I then pop some of the radiant concealer to the back of my hand to warm it through. I add the tiniest dot of the concealer to my under eye and blend it with my ring finger. I let my base settle whilst I do my brows, eye makeup, bronzer and blush. Once done, I pat my under eye with my ring finger to ensure that anything that has settled in my lines and wrinkles is blended out (I do sometimes use a single ply face tissue to dab away any moisture under my eyes too) before giving the lightest dusting of my loose powder to set it. I pop on my lipstick and then lightly dust my t-zone with powder to give it some staying powder. I love how this base looks - like I've got makeup on, but with a slight luminosity and natural glow on my almost 49 year old textured, lined, wrinkled, freckly skin. I only discovered Nars in July but really wish I'd found it years ago - love the stuff!
