I always start with the eyes, this allows me to touch my face while applying eye makeup. Once the eyes are fully finished then I can go in to the foundation. With a smoky eye I normally use a the tinted moisturiser just to make the skin look more subtle. Followed by cheeks then lips The smoky eye always suits a subtle lip shade this allows the eyes to do the talking. A heavy eye- light lips A heavy lip- subtle eyes If in doubt smoke it out!

Describe the different steps of your routine

Firstly I would apply a primer or a concealer, I then go in with a dark shadow and really blend it in from the outer to the inner eye. To add a pop I add the lightest shade or a shimmer to the inner corner of the eye.i then either go in with a liquid or pencil as a top liner, if I use the pencil I smoke this out so it doesn’t give the blunt finish, I would also apply the pencil I. The water and lower last line to give it the real smoky look, this looks fabulous with a nude or light lip on a night out with peachy tones on the cheek!!
