When going to the beach you need to think about sun protection and hydration. Makeup is best at a minimal look to keep your complexion feeling light and breathable. A touch of blush, mascara and lip balm is all you really need. Along with my kit I would keep SPF protection to hand, cooling mist and plenty of water to drink. A wide brimmed sun hat and glasses is a good way to protect your face from the sun's powerful rays.
