My best tips for highlighter and blusher:

• Highlighter before blusher - it looks like the glow is coming out of your skin
• Apply highlighter and blusher in an upward direction and placed high on the cheekbones
• Sometimes, lipstick is a great blusher - I love using the same colour blush as my lipstick to tie the whole look together
