My tips for long lasting makeup are as follows. After I do my skincare I like to give my moisturiser time to absorb properly for at least five minutes before applying my makeup. I then like to apply the Nars Radiance Primer SPF 35, again I leave this for a minute or two to settle. My favourite long wearing foundation is the Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation. I like to apply this with a damp sponge for a lighter coverage. I personally do not think heavy makeup looks good in the heat nor does it last so well. I would leave my foundation to set for a minute or two and then do a light dusting of the Light Reflecting Powder, focusing mainly on my t-zone. The final step to set my base would be misting with the new Light Reflecting Setting Spray. I don't have this yet but i'm hearing great things about it and really want to try it.
