I received a sample of the Powermatte Lip Pigment in the shade American Woman from Nars community in exchange for my honest review. The lipstick comes is a slick tube, offering great comfort while holding, featuring the Nars inscription on it, like all Nars cosmetics. With a very intense and pigmented colour, that I personally love , allows one stoke application. I tend to say that this lipstick is a deep matte one, but a gloss can be applied on to for more plumped look. The consistency of the actual lipstick is very liquid, so I will take caution while holding the tube during application, as from my personal experience, if you turn the tube , the liquid will easily come out. And you will run out of it imidiately. The tip of the applicatiotor is thin and soft , allowing a precise and very accurate glide, up to the contour of the lips. Feels soft at the beginning, allowing the lips to move with no tight feeling at all. I did feel the need to apply it after a few hours as it started to fade at the inside of the lips. The overall lasting power will be around 5 hours is there is no eating or drinking. Overall a great lipstick for those looking for matte versions and most probably will get more shades
