It could be sensitivity to a product or you may need to sanitize any tools: brushes, spoolies etc) you use on that area more frequently.

I would suggest focusing on your skincare first and if you do decide to continue wearing complexion products in the interim, apply light layer only where needed and make sure that you sanitise your brushes and sponges after each use. (edited)
