Little tip for all my fellow makeup lovers: I absolutely love doing my makeup, but one thing I’ve learnt over time is how important proper skin prep is. So many people forget to put on SPF before their foundation, but it really does make a difference. Even though your makeup goes on top, the SPF still helps protect your skin from damage. It’s such a simple step, but it keeps your skin happy underneath all that glam!
make sure to use setting powder if you want your make to stay on for a good few hours
Always put on fake lashes before eyeshadow
let your under eye concealor dry down a little before blending out
Many face products such as foundation will sit way better on your skin if they are warm so use the back of your hand as a palette to put the product in before application.
Warm cream products up on the back of your hand, to disperse product better and make it easier to blend! and, pop foundation on to a palette first, then dip your brush into the product then on to your face, this way yoy wont use too much foundation.
