I believe in embracing your under eyes BUT if you want to help cover dark circles, colour correcting is a must. A peachy/red (depending on skin tone) will help cover dark purple/blue colours. Use a tiny brush to pin point where you want to colour correct and don't apply too much under the whole eye area, only the parts that need Correcting.
Also....I love to use bronzer under the eyes to almost 'shade' in & contour the 'eye bag' to almost accentuate them, depending on what look you are going for it can look super gorgeous!
To hide my underye dark circles... Firstly, I like to add a lot of hydration to my under eye. For me, aquaphor does wonders. Then, I like to add a bit of red colour corrector to cancel out the darkness. Lastly, I love going in with my NARS radiant creamy concealer. But the trick is to blend with a small brush for extra coverage!
My favourite NARS product this month has been the ultimate luxury explicit lipstick. it was a lovely gift from my friend who knows i love a red lippy in the cold winter months. It's been such a staple this month and can't wait to continue wearing it when i go to the christmas markets!
To get the perfect under eye after using colour corrector I apply my concealer in a small sideways v shape under the inner corner and a small line like a wing on the outer corner. Using a triangle brush i blend the concealer and then set it with a pressed powder
To cover dark circles, I apply a little peach toned colour corrector to my under eye, then blend out either with the warmth of my fingers or with a small concealer brush. next I apply a little concealer to the inner and outer corner and allow it to dry down for a couple of mins to achieve maximum coverage. Next, I blend out with a concealer brush and then go over the area with a slightly damp beauty blender to remove any creases, before settiing the under eye area with some translucent powder using a powder puff.
