Here are a few of my go-to tricks using my favorite NARS productsβsimple, effective, and great for everyday makeup lovers or pros alike:
Radiant Creamy Concealer Hack
Apply a dot in the inner and outer corners of your under-eye, let it sit for 30 seconds, then blend with your ring finger or a damp sponge. This technique gives a natural lift and better coverage with less product.
Velvet Matte Lip Pencil = Lipstick + Liner
Use the pointed tip to line your lips first, then fill in. It saves time and gives you precision without needing two separate products. Bonus: It lasts for hours without feeling dry!
Laguna Bronzer as Eyeshadow
On minimal makeup days, I use Laguna Bronzer in my crease for instant depth. It ties my whole look together and warms up the eyes naturally.
Foundation Touch-Up Trick
Mix a drop of Radiant Creamy Concealer with your Light Reflecting Foundation to spot-conceal and refresh your base during the dayβespecially around the nose and chin.
Applying a brow pencil - Always use light feathery strokes while filling out your eyebrows with a pencil. It will make them look more natural. For an instant lift in the eyes, use your highlighter just above the arch of your brows and blend it out. It will not only define your eyebrows perfectly but also have a dramatic impact on the appearance of your entire face.
Apply Bronzer In A Triangular Fashion For Better Blending.
Though itβs a common practice to apply bronzer with a fluffy brush on the hollow of your cheeks, it is a better idea to draw two inverted triangles on your cheeks with a bronzer if you want to achieve cool-toned contouring. Blend it out, and you will have the perfectly done bronzer that will give you perfectly chiseled features. On the topic of bronzers, Bronzers should be placed where the sun would hit the face, so the forehead, temples, middle of the cheeks (vertically) and optionally on the nose and chin. A great hack to bring the face together is to use your bronzer as eyeshadow in your crease.
