The shade is quite unique. I would describe it as a pale, cool toned mauve pink. It has a lovely texture and consistency, which I noticed on my first swipe. It is super-fine and feels weightless when on the skin. I really dislike blushers that feel heavy or cloying, but the signature Nars quality is noticeable straightaway.The overall finish of this blush is matte which is something I actually prefer. In my experience, matte blushers are most versatile for both day time and night time. Unfortunately, and I wish this wasn’t the case, on my medium olive skin tone the colour is very subtle and nearly nonexistent no matter how much I try to build it up. I think this would be far better suited to those with a fair and light skin tone - for true payoff and maximum effectiveness of colour! I really love the colour however, and I can imagine it looking stunning on the skin tone it was intended for. I will always love and appreciate the superior Nars quality and recommend this product for those that have a very fair to light skin tone, especially if you’re looking to find a blush that will give you a healthy, natural-looking, seamless, flush from within.
