I have two shades of this - Vanilla and Ginger, and use them separately or together or mixed together depending on whether my fake tan is on or not. I have been 'blessed' (thanks dad, thanks so much...) by very deep set eyes. This means that my eye socket is so sunken into my skull that the brow bone casts a shadow, which emphasises my dark circles (thanks to no sleep and being a mum). It's incredibly difficult to cover up that darkness and to brighten the eye area, and I need a good amount of high coverage concealer AND brightening powder on top to get a result. Well, my product of choice has been the legendary NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer for many years now, simply because it delivers consistent results and I am yet to find something better. Frankly, I am not even trying to find anything better - at this point it would be a waste of time. This concealer has a great texture, for starters. It is quite thick but doesn't feel too heavy, which is especially important as I always, but always need two layers - most people will get amazing results with just one, but I am a special case of sorts, so texture is incredibly important to me. I can layer this one up to get my desired level of coverage without it turning cakey or otherwise unsightly and too heavy looking. In fact, I like the fact that I ONLY need the two layers. The coverage, in my view, is fantastic. Many heavy duty concealers settle into a cakey, cement-like mess on me, but this one doesn't. It consistently looks good. It also doesn't dry out the skin around my eyes, crease, or settle into lines, and once the powder is on on top, this thing won't budge. It definitely does provide a refreshed, radiant feel to my undereyes, works as an eyeshadow base, and nicely covers up any redness or imperfections on other parts of my face. Overall, it is a Holy Grail product, one I won't be replacing, ever. Because how could I replace the irreplaceable?
